Broccoli Salad

Fresh Broccoli salad is the perfect summer side dish!

Ingredients:
For the Salad:
12 oz bacon
7 cups chopped broccoli flowerets
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For the Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
Directions:
1. Cook bacon until browned and crispy. Allow to cool and crumble into pieces
2. In a large bowl, combine all the salad ingredients and mix well.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, sugar and vinegar.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well to coat.
5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. This is delicious served the next day also!
